Price Check Guru App Reviews

I like what the app promises what to do (trending, notifications, etc.). However, the number of hits I get when I try to scan a barcode is very low. That is, it cant find many products using the bar code scanner. I have compared this to other scanning apps and the other ones I use have a very high hit rate compared to this. Im not sure how or where this app uses as the sources for the prices but that obviously needs to change before this app becomes truly a useful shopping tool.

Nice app to bar code scan and check prices and get alerts and chart price history.

I tested this app with some well known products that I already own, and it only found one of them. Not sure I could take it out with me and use it to find better prices.

The app is useless. Doesnt search for what you enter in the search bar.

This app is a waste of memory space out of 30 items none were found... Glad it was free!! Had to write a review before I deleted it..and I only rated it 1 star because It wouldnt let me put 0 stars. Ok thanks for reading now fix your crappy app!

Only have one question. Does it ever work?

Dont waste your time found prices that are higher than you can find in the store and not better than you can find in any other online shopping web location.

i found this one easy to use, easy to set pricing targets, bar code scanned most items i tried.. like that its free!

Handy tool if you want to set a price and get notified when the item drops to that price.

Definitely need all the help I can get finding good prices - this app works great and is free! Plus it alerts you when an item you like drops below a certain price.

Doesnt find any of the products you are looking for with the scanner. Waste of time.

It would be nice if it showed product info, not just a picture.

I like it. Its nice looking, easy to use, and can really assist you in comparing prices of particular items. Need to be specific though.

Good idea which is not working yet. Poor Bar code scanning function failed to find household items. Search function brought up expensive but irrelevant items. Should have allowed test use without registration. Sorry! Cant give you a good rating.

During a layover I downloaded the app so I could price shop a few items and found it to be useful and user friendly.

I use this app every day, it has saved me lots of money!

It cant tell anything

When I tapped the icon to open the app, there was nothing but a black screen, and then my iPad returned to its home screen. Would give it a big fat "0" if I could.

YEP!!!!!! Black screen for me as well

This app does not do its job.
